HEALTH CARE REFORM ACT BENEFIT IMPLEMENTATION UPDATE
Many of you have contacted the Trust Fund Office regarding our effective dates for the implementation of certain benefit changes as a result of the recently plassed Health Care Reform Act. At this time, we anticipate many changes to be implemented June 1, 2011, including but not limited to the reinstatement of qualified dependents up to age 26. More specific information regarding this and all other changes will be forthcoming in early 2011.
Did you know that your plan, as required by THE WOMEN'S HEALTH AND CANCER RIGHTS ACT OF 1998, provides benefits for Mastectomy related services including reconstruction and surgery to achieve Symmetry between the breasts.
